On Sunday, I had the absolute pleasure of attending the first ever Wedding Fayre / Open day at the STUNNING Teasses Estate in Fife.
Photography wise this venue, with its gorgeous glass house that looks incredible in all Seasons, is just a total dream for me and likely any Scottish Wedding Photographer who visits!
Some Phone Images Below...
I spent the week before preparing wee bags for any couples I might get to chat with, and since we all know I loooooove a treat, it had a few wee chocolates in, along with a scratch card to win a prize, (that I made myself! Yes, I am that talented/geeky) and some information about my services, and packages.
When I arrived, it had been raining and honestly, in the rain this place might...MIGHT be even more beautiful. It was so atmospheric, lush and green, and the festoon lighting glistenend in the misty rain.
Our hosts Soffi and Craig ( who are just lovely - wedding folks to be - you are in good hands) led me down to the marquee where my pitch was for the day. I was positioned nicely in between Flora Alba and the lovely Jenna from Jenna B Stationery.
I spoke to all the couples who visited, and many of them left their details as I was running a competition to win an engagement shoot! As I write this, I plan on drawing the competition tomorrow... who will win?? You'll have to come back or follow along on the socials to find out.
Out of interest, any wedding couples visiting the blog - I'd love to know - If I ran a competition at the next Scottish Wedding fayre I attend - what kinda prize would you like to see available to win on the day?
In the break between sessions - I had the pleasure of trying the amazing soup that Teasses Estate has to offer. I chose Tomato and Red Pepper and OMG I could have eaten it ten times over. If it wasn't for the super tasty, zesty lemon drizzle cake that followed I may have ordered more!
The folks in the kitchen were really fab, chatting away, showing a genuine interest in the businesses of those suppliers in attendance. You just know that this venue will make your wedding day incredible from start to finish.
I've had a few enquiries now for the amazing Teasses Estate venue, and I am so SO excited to photograph there in the coming years!
